This is the difference between a real lawyer and a TV lawyer. Trump’s people need change the conversation and not discuss the report at all. Trump promised total exoneration. Now all his supporters want to talk about is how Crooked Hillary and Obummer were worse so it doesn’t matter what’s in the report.

In response, McGahn’s lawyer released a somewhat terse statement on his client’s behalf to the Times.
When the lawyer for the WH lawyer hits back, Ghouliani really needs to sit this one out.
Yes. This is exactly why McGahn took notes. For days like today.
He could have added, when Trump questioned him as to why he was taking notes, is that only mob attorneys swear omertà , and he’s not going to be doing that for Trump.
But Trump can’t help himself. He already fired McGahn’s law firm from further business with his campaign and is obviously training his attack dog, Guliani, on McGahn. But McGahn knows where the bodies are buried, so to speak, and has notes, so this can’t end well for Trump.
Nancy’s job is getting easier and easier.

“It’s a mystery why Rudy Giuliani feels the need to re-litigate incidents the attorney general and deputy attorney general have concluded were not obstruction,” the statement reads. “But they are accurately described in the report.”

C’mon, McGahn, take a further step toward rehabilitation. Go on the talk-show circuit and start dishing. You can write the book later. We promise we’ll buy it.
Just made the mistake of listening to NPR where two democratic strategists were on, talking about impeachment. So we’ve moved off the gargantuan criminality and conspiracy of silence in the GOP in two days and it’s onto “Oh no! What are the Dems going to do? The Dems are screwed again.” I cannot deal with this. Also, one of them talking about how folks in Indiana don’t care about all of this - why can’t an interviewer say, “Well, maybe they fucking should.” (okay, “freaking”.)

Their need to do this is correlated (+1.00) with the need to HorseRace and BothSider.
Nothing we can do except to educate people…The Congress will hold Hearings, call people to testify, investigate.
It’s hair on fire time in the Trump WH. This will not go away. The House is going to investigate the hell out of them, Trump is going to try and “get even” with his staffers and the ugly will continue until the 2020 elections.
