What a slimy, despicable little man he is.

Question: Would a man who would sell his office for a few shiny trinkets also lie under oath? Answer: Why, yes. Yes he would.

They looked awfully happy sitting together in that Ferrari.

… sounds like the opening number to that classic hit

    - "Meet the Other Woman"

“Virginia ex-Gov. Bob McDonnell reflected candidly on his apparently troubled marriage”

Candidly? Really? And how do you know he was being candid? Did your spidey sense tell you? Anyway, McConnell is such a twister, I doubt he has the ability to be candid.

Bob McDonnell is throwing his wife Maureen under the bus. I am sure that theincredible christyrannical clergy at Regent University (who know all of god’s words as literally written in english in the bible) unanimously agree that Bob McDonnell view of christian marriage and wives under buses is right.

This conservative Crazy Wife defense is next best thing after the Twinkie defense of the 80s and an insanity plea.

“acknowledging that he put his relationship with his wife “on hold” while in the governor’s mansion.”

WHY does Bob McDonnell think he can REDEFINE MARRIAGE? Marriage has been sanctified for thousands of years, and we cannot tolerate people coming along and REDEFINING it, just because of their “anything goes” attitudes!

What’s next? Putting their parental responsibilities “on hold”? What about the CHILDREN???

I just saw where Bob McDonnell said he’s now staying with his pastor. ???
What’s Ted Haggard up to these days? Gonna’ be a LOT of “laying on of hands” if those two have hooked up!

One has to wonder: if his marriage was in that much trouble, why on earth did he run for governor? Did politics really mean so much more to him than trying to keep his family together? And did it mean so much that he was willing to inflict so much misery on both of them, and probably on his children, too, not to mention the fallout that their staffers had to live with, just to spend four years in the Governor’s Mansion? What kind of “family values” are those?

Great, blame your greed and bribe taking on the hysterical, depressed, harridan of a wife you have. Misogyny pays, always has, always will.

There is just one problem. Somehow they both came together long enough to take the money and spend it in various ways. The marriage may have broken down but it was not raining money from heaven.

Not a fan of either of the McDonnells, but the way he and his legal team are throwing his wife under the bus is revolting. I’ve got to wonder how this legal strategy is playing with the jury. If she doesn’t divorce him after this, she has the husband she deserves.

It’s called marriage.

You break it, you buy it.

So this is what they mean by “for better or worse”.

And WTF does that even mean that his marriage was “on hold”? What a shitbag.

He’s using her to throw the case off himself and onto her so that corruption charges under his authority don’t stick so bad…and because he has more to lose than her in his official capacity as Governor. The defense seems to be…“she made me do it”.

I always knew he was a slimeball. He comes from the Great State of Vagina, I mean Virgin, I mean Virginia…

Governor vaginal probe ultrasound needs better counsel imo.
