Discussion for article #224312
What an odious crybaby KKKMcDaniels is.
Its almost like he doesn’t understand voting.
The vote total in Hinds County (70% black) was up 50% from
June 3. Cochran got 18,000 McDaniel 7,000. June 3 the vote
was 11,000 to 5,600. There is no question it was Dem votes but
it won’t matter. I am disgusted that both parties are so corrupt.
If it is an open primary, why should Republican votes count for more than Democratic votes?
They don’t, but it is illegal to vote in a Republican runoff if you
voted in the Democratic primary June 3. There is no question
that the Democratic voters made the difference. No matter,
it’s over.
Hey McDaniel - maybe the reason so many Democrats voted for Cochran is that they are rightfully freaked out by the prospect of someone like you in the US Senate, so they mobilized to prevent it from happening.
Your reaction to the election basically reinforces why they wanted to vote against you.
And DOWN go the Baggers!
ROTFLMAO!
Don’t you understand that this is actually better for Republicans because there is NO way McDaniel would win against a serious Democrat contender. At least now, Republicans have a little less work ahead of them (and THAT is why he won the vote. Not just because of the black vote. People who thought he was a sure winner last time didn’t bother to even get out there and vote, NOW they realize they could easily lose to Dems if they don’t).
They’re actually afraid he wouldn’t win and a Dem would.
Do you understand that this is Mississippi?
No democrat was going to win in the general.
Never. They and we would have gotten a confederate
nightmare. I know Mississippi enough to know McDaniels
would have been playing Dixie in public in November. Cochran will
just listen to it at home.
So are you saying the democrats don’t understand how to vote
and voted illegally? Hardly anyone voted in the primary. So a few
people got off their ass to keep the bagger out. No problem.
What a punk crybaby. Wah wah wah I didn’t win. Who can I blame? It must be someone’s fault. It can’t be ME the voters rejected!
Shut the hell up, you fucking loser.
Yeah, keep making a stink in the name of the Tea Party!
You already shit and pissed in our public discourse, so do whatever you can to keep that poop in your pants, and walk around telling everyone how mad you are that you have poop in your poopy pants. All while wearing that scowl.
He will continue to stand for Derrrrrrrrrr.
Giatny–the higher vote total in the runoff isn’t necessarily due all, or even mostly, to Democrats. This was a higher-profile race, with only two candidates. The stakes were higher because both candidates were more recognized at this point. I don’t know if Mississippi keeps stats on the which voters from which party voted in the primary–it’ll be interesting to see, if they do. But those numbers are not necessarily due to Democratic voters. (They might be, which would be pretty funny–but it’s not a given.)
Yes, but it’s perfectly okay if you didn’t vote in either first round. Since there wasn’t much at stake in the Democratic primary, I suspect that’s what most did.
Never give up, never surrender!
Oh dear, I have never heard the “both parties suck” turdlet before.
Do you have a newsletter I can subscribe to?
(rolls eyes)
Ever since Bush v. Gore it’s been standard practice of the more conservative party to try to win the race via litigation rather than election. When they actually take to the ammo box instead of the ballot box we’ll all know just how too far the five in Bush actually went.
McDaniel said “there is something a bit strange, there is something a bit unusual about a Republican primary that’s decided by liberal Democrats.”
So, votes from Democrats don’t count?
I guess we got our answer to that question when the Teabags brought their voter intimidation (poll watchers) posse to Mississippi.
I guess the voter intimidation didn’t work out as planned huh?
