GOP= Governing Other’s Pelvises.
McCrory just can’t seem to let go of that huge shovel.
More like he “scrambles” to use this as a way out without admitting he’s a bigot —
IOHH…In over his head…
HB2 seems to have become something that consumes a great part of his Gubernatorial day. Good to see that he thinks it’s worth all the effort he’s putting into it.
McCrory: No worries. It’s not as if violating Title IX will cost us any money.
Bathrooms really seem to freak some people out. And the rest of us find any discussion of who uses which bathroom really, really tedious. Can we move on?
If the pearl-clutchers REALLY don’t want the ladies in the men’s, they should mandate the installation of vintage urinals like they have at the Broken Spoke dance hall in Austin. It’s so disgusting, there is a picture of it on the internet. (ProTip: And consequently, I would advise against using the sinks there, too).

"It is my understanding that this ruling will most likely be immediately appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court," [Gov. McCrory] continued, adding that he will get an evaluation from his lawyers in the meantime on how the ruling affects North Carolina law. "I mean, this is a major, major change in social norms."
And if the Supremes divide evenly, 4–4, that will leave the lower-court ruling in place. Thanks, McConnell!
Panicked, backpeddlin’ Pat throws the shifter into R and hopes someone else will bail his ass out.
Our Democratic Attorney General, who is also McCrory’s opponent on the November ballot, really needs to say something about this before tomorrow’s news cycle.
ACLU: “This mean-spirited law not only encourages discrimination and endangers transgender students – it puts at risk billions of dollars in federal funds that North Carolina receives for secondary and post-secondary schools.”
So pretty much the best possible outcome in the GOP worldview….
Stealing money from Christians to give it away to homos! THE GAY AGENDA CONTINUES ITS ASSAULT ON JESUS!
So some 7th Grader who is known by his classmates as Billy is going to have to use the girls’ restroom because it says Jenny on the birt certificate? This is supposed to improve matters how?
I don’t get why VA or SC Republicans want to dictate that some kid who looks like a boy should poop in the girls’ room.
@PatMcCroryNC says he will meet with attorneys to figure
out impact of VA ruling
Uh … same attorneys you met with with before you signed the bill Pat ? ? —
I have no doubt that if McCrory was not taking a pounding in the polls right now he would have had a much more confrontational tone on this ruling. I suspect he is looking for the best way to undo what he did without looking like an unprincipled hack in the process.
That ship sailed a long time ago.
McCrory is, and always has been, an unprincipled hack.
After all—he is a Republican.
