Lemme guess…he’ll only meet with them if its behind closed doors. He’s wasting time by doing this. All he needs to do is put forward a fucking stand-alone bill (probably one he’s already turned down) and hold a vote on it TODAY. I guess he will explain to them why they don’t really need the money, and how bad the deficit is (without mentioning Trump’s tax cuts and throwing more money at the military). I hope when he gets out of said meeting that he feels as if he personally has gone through 9/11 all over again.

The incredulous thing is he’s making those responders spend time and money to travel back to DC from NY or elsewhere just so McConnell can offer another excuse and idiotic explanation for why he’s given them the run-around, thus adding more insult to injury.
