She eventually settled for McConnell and Trump’s promised future support for the measures, though House Republicans have said they’re dead on arrival.

In other words,Susan Collins is a big fat liar…

I certainly hope Pres. Trump’s tax plan achieves all he wishes, and more, but I see it dimmed just a tad by the Senate’s failure to eliminate the “Carried Interest” loophole, and the Child Tax Credit omission, allowing illegal alien parents to receive these benefits.
As I am writing this post, something has just occurred to me. What do these two omissions have in common, something that may well explain why they were left out of the conference negotiations? Both can be fixed by a simple phone call from the president!

Shorter Mitch: can’t root out Obamacare as it’s too deeply entrenched, so call it a victory and hope no one calls them out. It’s sustained massive blows, but is still around waiting for Dems to fix it.

Whatever the ACA is now, it’s Trumpcare going forward. You broke it, you bought it, Mitch.

They stuffed themselves with so much tax cuts there’s no room left for Obamacare repeal.*

SAD!

(*further proof Obamacare repeal was all talk designed to keep the voting rube’s dicks hard.)

As soon as Trump signs the GOP’s treasury-looting Crime of the Century, I’m sure Congress will, er, “move on”.

That is, seeing how Mitch, Paul, and The Donors (blessed be their name) now have the one thing they wanted.

Their historically-unpopular, very-damaged useful-idiot in the White House may have outlived his usefulness?

Just sayin’…

The tax law change damages Obamacare but more importantly, drives insurance rates up across the board.

Mitch doesn’t want to have everyone to keep being reminded that the R’s sold what was left of their pitiful souls for a pyrrhic victory that will now and for the next nine months be hung around their neck in every House District. And, very emphatically in the poorest districts that will suffer so much more.

The Dems need to run on fixing Obamacare and real tax reform for real people. They will not be able just to criticize. They must have a comprehensive strategy beginning in January.

Well they basically got what they wanted out of Trump so now they’re moving on.

Yep, all the stars are aligned for a giant shit show just in time for a new Congress.

We’ll probably move on to destroy any benefits involving senior citizens and children.

I fully expect Trump will veto any fix or propping up of the system. He is that kind of jerk. He has proven time and time again that he does not give one damn about the little people.

Time to replace the Cretin-in-Chief with Pious Pence to shore up their evangelical base. It’s hard work to reconcile the money changers and the theocrats.

Let’s very much hope so.

Shorter McConnell: “Nah, we’re done with that orifice for now. We’d like to move on to raping the American people in another one. So much raping, so little time…”
