There’s only so much moving on you can do while circling the wagons. Republicans are stuck in the quagmire with their Russian mole president and well they know it.

Obamacare? What is that? GOP"CARE" since 1/2017.

“But I think we’ll probably move on to other issues… if our internal polling says its a loser, but if we can fire up our base by destroying something Obama and DemocRATS foisted on the American populace (and I mean the wealthy and corporations when I say that), then we may go after it after all. All depends on what the Koch Bros want anyway”

In an interview with NPR, McConnell said Republicans’ overhaul of the tax code […] “takes the heart out of Obamacare.”

He’s a monster.

As for Collins, it’s important not to forget that she’s a Republican. She voted against the ACA in 2010 and voted to repeal it subsequently, more than once. We may be grateful that she opposed and helped defeat the so-called “skinny repeal” attempt recently, and she did make some pleasant noises at the time (saying that Obamacare “allowed millions of individuals and families to obtain health insurance for the first time” and “brought important patient protections”), but no one should have been relying on her to rescue the program in this last go-round, especially when “tax reform” was at stake.

Oh yeah. Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security are in Paul Ryan’s waiting room, awaiting gross mayhem and beheading.

Maybe bring back the Public Option next time the Dems are in a position to “fix Obamacare.”

I’ve been thinking that too. I guess we’ll have our answer when they’re cornered about some batshit tweet from PP after they return from the break.
“Senator, do you agree with the president that women all are whores, black people are lazy, Mexicans smell, Jews are ugly, and Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton should be executed?”

Not nearly as much as the people of Louisville do.

They will move on to destroying Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security and the base will be ecstatic watching those 3 burn…until it hits home when they hafta use an ER for basic medical needs and Gramps hasta live with his kids and grand kids and convert the garage into his living quarters.

Thanks Mitch

You know the axiom but it’s more direct when visual…

Put another way, “I want to conclude my elected official career as Senate Majority Leader.”

I’m not so sure… because I strongly suspect the whole RNC/GOP are too complicit, too deep into it and some are too active part of it themselves to “move on.”

And I, for one, won’t let him (h/t @inversion).

I read an interesting article today about states (blue, of course) who might well enforce a mandate on their own. I had been wondering about it, and am curious how many will do so.
