I actually agree. This needs a war powers act resolution.
On a political level, this would be a good thing too, because when it goes pear shaped, and it will, it’s the Middle East, the Republicans will be on record for having voted on it.

Too bad old turtle. The Use of Military Force Authorization Act (or whatever the name is) you pushed through Congress for W makes it very clear he doesn’t have to ask your opinion about anything war related.
Maybe you should try looking forward to possible future ramifications of the bills you pass.
