Maybe Turtlehead can explain how he’s gonna cherry pick which programs he’s all for keeping open during this ingenious move, and which ones he’ll let slide. We already know he’s all for more Defense spending to bomb Iraq and re-involve ourselves in another on-going quagmire there. It goes without saying that all Rethug Senators privately or publicly are for that. Most have been praising the President for getting us back into that mess, only they want us back in completely, hook, line and sinker. I hope that what we’re doing there turns out to be so limited that this move turns into a blip in the grand scheme with our misadventure in foreign intervention. I see mission creep already starting to take hold among the hawks in Congress and that’s never a good thing.
