Sorry Mitch, an extra couple of weeks here in DC will not polish this turd.

And they still have the budget to work on among other things …

GOPers holding themselves accountable? I’ll believe it when I see it.

I hope you are correct. The repubs always seem to be able to twist arms to get the votes.

Yurtle seems to think that something larger and more damaging, this way comes that he has to rush repeal…panic?

I hear grumbling in the wings.

So. Disgusting. So. Despicable.

I hope I’m correct, too. But news stories have shown that constituents have been letting their senators know how upset they are about losing healthcare coverage. It’s getting harder for them to sugarcoat what this bill is about.

Prolonged exposure to TrumpNoCare won’t make it more popular; it won’t make the plan any better. Why is Yertle really seeking more time?

Millions will lose their health insurance. Many seniors and the disabled could be kicked out of nursing homes. It’s all about money and greed with repubs. To their non-rich voters it’s all about guns and hate. If there is a hell…

Low effort. Sad!

Ah yes, change the rules if you can’t stay within them.

True, but I’ve also seen where repubs are hiding from their constituents because they don’t want to be confronted.

They are “chicken.” They literally want to take away healthcare from 23 million people & don’t want to face those people back at home.

Go out on a limb for a painful unpopular toxic bill and hope… who? Trump will make it ok for you politically? Who is buying that line?

I’m related to some of these nitwits. This is their truth.

But just minutes before McConnell’s announcement, veteran lawmakers were waving away the idea of canceling recess as an impossibility.

“That’s not gonna happen,” Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO) told reporters, laughing. “It’s hard enough to get members here on a Friday.”

Then perhaps those poor widdle snowflakes , such as yourself, should be voted out. Where does it say that the business of governing is a four day workweek with about a fourth of the year off?

They might be able to raise their grade to a D minus.

We don’t need a huge number of Republicans to turn away from this bill. It’s doable. If Susan Collins wants to run for governor of Maine, a vote for this bill would be a bad idea. Where does she want her career to go?
