Right… Pull the other one, it’s got bells on it.
(How stupid does he think we are anyway?!?)
“There are no serious barriers to voting anymore anywhere in America…What [Shelby County v. Holder] struck down were the provisions that absurdly treated the South differently. They don’t apply anymore. It’s 50 years later.”
Only Hindu deities have enough arms for all the face palms required…
“No serious barriers to voting in America”
…
A comforting thought if it were true.
How many epithets would you like to go with that “How stupid does he think we are?”
Post turtle McConnell, like his brethren GOP cons, couldn’t find the truth in a field full of truths in truth mating season.
“What was struck down were the provisions that absurdly treated the
South differently,” McConnell told USA Today, in reference to the Shelby decision. “They don’t apply anymore. It’s 50 years later."
…
So ,i take it Senator you believe there’s no racism anymore? Because the number of lynchings has dropped a bit or the bigots have changed style some?
To give an example of how bad it has become, the League of Women Voters, which we all know is nothing but a commie front organization, has declared that some 20,000 legally registered voters in Kansas will probably not be able to vote in November because of new state voting requirements. What the fuck is wrong in this country that each state decides who is and isn’t eligible to vote in FEDERAL elections?
This is why I’m not adverse to a photo voter ID card. I think most states still issue voter registration cards, but it’s too rudimentary. Not everyone has a driver’s license and no one carries around his birth certificate and it doesn’t have a photo any way. A state photo ID/voter’s card is not onerous.
Lies And The Lying Liars Who Tell Them, Part, um…Part, um…Part, um, oh, screw it, I can’t keep track of them all!
From the white male who has been able to vote without questions his entire adult life
Very stupid…cause some people are
… as long as you’re white, not in college, wealthy enough to own a car, or too young for Medicare.
Then, it’s all good.
“What was struck down were the provisions that absurdly treated the South differently, they don’t apply anymore. It’s 50 years later."
Adding, that’s why we had to come up with entirely new ways to disenfranchise voters.
Hopefully, in his next incarnation, McTurtle will be a skull hanging from Kali’s neck.
Gut the voting rights act. and then say, with a straight face there’s no impediment to voting.
Irony is not a GOP strong suit.
The guy on the left looks smart.
Old enough to vote too.
