In the matter of one year, Trump has pulled back the curtain on everything Lee Atwater worked hard to cultivate, and what Ronald Reagan mastered.

In all honesty, Mitch doesn’t know a lot about any issues either.

Takes one to know one.

It worked out so well last time we had an experienced VP advising the President.

So, they spend eight years mocking a president who has enormous policy depth as a know-nothing puppet who reads words he doesn’t really understand off a teleprompter and now they urgently recommend we elect a real know-nothing who they urgently hope will read words he doesn’t understand off a teleprompter.

Even after all this time and after all he’s done for the last eight years, the extent to which partisanship is pathology with McConnell never fails to sicken and amaze.

“Yes, the Republican Party’s position is clear”, the Senator went on to add. “Donald Trump. Satan. Zombie Hitler. Kim Jung II. Cthulhu. - these are all the lesser evil compared to the former Senator, former Secretary of State, current Whore of Babylon, and future Anti-Christ Hillary Rodham Clinton.”

The Turtle is biting Trump every day. Probably not an accident. McConnell apparently has written off Trump and is trying to build a mote around the GOP Senate candidates. Good luck with that strategy.

OT, but that picture of McTurtle reminds me of those 3rd grade school pictures of the pudgy kid down the block – you know, the Pugsley lookalike??

And this was when he was trying to be charming.

You got that right,Mitchell and you are not alone:

"Gov. Chris Christie
on Thursday declined to say whether he’d privately rebuked Donald Trump
after the mogul made disparaging remarks about a federal judge that
U.S. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan condemned as the “textbook
definition of racism.”
Appearing as an impromptu guest on the “Benigno & Roberts” on
WFAN after co-hosting “Boomer & Carton” earlier in the morning, the
governor quickly came under fire by host Evan Roberts, who demanded to
know if Christie had spoken privately to Trump about the remarks.
The governor declined to answer, saying, “Then you’re not friends with someone any more, then you’re not a confidant.”

Perhaps they’ll prep the Donald by having him sleep at a long sequence of Holiday Inns.

Hah!

50% of the time…trump knows nothing about 100% of the issues, EVERY time.

“…but I still fully support Trump because well party-over-country and we can’t have 16 straight years of economic prosperity under D presidents…”

“moat”

And that is exactly what he is trying to do. Of course, the irony to me is, he has hung the open SCOTUS position around their necks like a talisman of defeat at the same time.
