Discussion: McCaskill Criticizes 'Morning Joe' Coverage Of Hillary In Tense Exchange (VIDEO)

Discussion for article #241542

Of course there is a different set of standards for a Democratic candidate, their every move is questioned. Meanwhile EVERY Republican candidate lies regularly and is never questioned about their inability to tell the truth. “Liberal media” my ass

Supporting something and then not supporting it as it evolved into something else is not a flip-flop masshole. What is it with the media and their lack of understanding time context continuum

With regard to the scrubbed server she didn’t apologies fast enough, and when she did, sincerely enough for Joe and Mika though I’m not sure what Clinton needed to apologize for in that instance.

Co-host Mika Brzezinski pushed back and said that McCaskill misinterpreted “questions” about Clinton’s opinions as “attacks.”

Here it is, another example of" woman’s woman", uber-feminist, “voice of women” Mika Brzezinski standing up for women by telling one woman that she is confused and doesn’t understand the difference between questions and attacks. Why anyone would hold Brzezinski up as some kind of paragon of feminism continues to baffle me.

A friend of mine once told me that his brother had so much respect for W because W would “make a decision and stick by it, right or wrong”. I said I thought that was dumbest thing I’d ever heard. Intelligent people often change their minds upon examination of evidence that refutes their prior position. It’s part of everyday life. Something may seem like a perfectly good idea until it doesn’t, and then you change course. I don’t understand why that’s so hard for the MSM to comprehend.

Let’s please keep in mind Mark Halperin once called President Obama 'a dick" on Morning Joe, while Mika and Joe smirked and giggled, as if they were still in High School and had a friend who just farted in the back of class.

Traitor Joe is such a piece of work. I no longer watch the show.

As I understand it, you’ll now be able to not watch the show for another hour.

It sickens me that MSNBC continues to give Morning Joke a forum for his partisan idiocy.

Well, who does, besides the PR shills trying to find her additional revenue and a few deranged folks on the right who think anything with boobs is a feminist?

Gee, Maybe Claire McCaskill should get out of the Senate and play referee on some of these shows?

Continues? How about expands his forum?

Halperin just got confused and thought he was referring to himself—because he is, and has always been, a smug, self-satisfied dick.

So a democratic candidate takes an independent position from the one she was held to as SOS. Gee, so Hillary cannot have an independent thought? Obviously only republicans can have an independent thought or decision. Yes, that old double standard comes back in play when it is Hillary Clinton. Well, unions are happy with Hillary and as a Hillary supporter I am happy too.

There just questions. Innocent questions.

“Is Obama a Muslim?”
“ Is Obama an American.”
"Is Hillary Clinton a traitor?”

Does Mika realize that this I got questions trope is exactly the GOP strategy?
I wonder if Hillary’s communicated with the ISIS in her e-mail. Let’s ask the question.

That’s a bullshit excuse for letting people like Joe ramble on and on with fact free rants about Hillary’s ‘canniving character’.

A lot in that article has taken place
 this piece breaks my heart:

One notable causality to emerge from these moves is current 9-11 a.m. anchor José Díaz-Balart. With Morning Joe going to 10 a.m., Tamron Hall will then take over the 10-12 noon slot, thereby leaving Mr. Díaz-Balart as the odd man out.

Jose begins my day while I’m getting ready for work. He’s good on interviews and news, but light and fun enough to start my day off on a good note.

I love Tamron, but leave her where she is
the morn’ whore creep is atrocious.

Maybe it would be helpful if Sen McCaskill was
 like
pleasant, and more important, likable, instead of all hard edges. She’s right in her position but looks and acts as if some grave injustice has been committed. I think it’s called whining.
