So when was the last time that it occurred to you to make a similar demand of any right wing male Tea Troll?
Hard-edged whining can be remarkably effective. Remember that the next time you accuse Democrats of having no balls.

Ditto. Why is it that women with authority canât be forceful or tough or even cautious or thoughtful?
Joe and Mika and the crew spend most of the show criticizing or making fun of Hillary. Joe will say stuff and laugh and laugh. Other news can be going on and their show will be trashing anyting Hilliary says or does or wears.
Claire is like DiFi in that when sheâs not making you hate her, she makes you cheer. Clair is unlike DiFi in that the cheer-worthy moments are much, much, much more frequent.
ânot the only one who flip-flops,â but added that she took a long time to come out with stances on the TPP and on the Keystone pipeline"
But thatâs not flip flopping is it? Clinton took a âlong timeâ ( the election is still more than a year out ) on two very complicated and huge issues. She took time to think them out. But look how Joe tries to equate that with flip flopping. And there are plenty of times flip flopping is the right thing to do.
I have to side with McCaskill on this. As SOS, Hillary was for the TPP effort.
Now, she said she has questions. Fair enough, in the absence of a finalized draft to review.
This is not a âhe was for it before he was against itâ thing. The TPP was being negotiated for five years up through this Monday morning. While it was being crafted it was a moving target. The drafts from the Hawaii meetings this summer are as obsolete as the leaks from 2013 that wikileaks released.
Hopefully, once the finalized text is released next month there will be substantive discussions on the merits of the deal.
If you read Hillaryâs statement you discover that she is opposed based on what she has seen. She is quick to point out that like everybody else she hasnât seen the final deal. If she changes her mind after seeing the final draft, will Moaning Joe say she flip-flopped yet again?
âJoe Scabrousâ
Good question. Agree.
I think Hillaryâs statement was nuanced and doesnât box her in when information becomes available â unlike Bernie Sanders, who seems ideologically opposed to any trade dealâŚ
Itâs also a clear diversion from the RW base inflaming fact that itâs the Congressional GOTP that supports Obama on TPP, not Democrats.
Really, you think moaning joe and the rest of the MSM do nuance? Wow, what is the color of the sky in your world?
Actually you are absolutely right, her response is nuanced and reasoned. She is only boxed in in the minds of the media.
Why should her? She has an opinion and she clearly expressed it. And if some people donât like what she has to say then donât listen to her. The MJ has become a forum to bash HRC. No matter what whe does or what position she takes on any issue. Joe and Mika continuously speculate on things they know nothing about and pass it as fact without a counterpoint or balance and that creates a false impression of the events. We see the events unfolding in a different manner and you can see their irritation. My beef with this people is that as meager as it is, they do have influence. They want to choke HRC candidacy before we get to vote. And that pisses me off
Sec of State does not speak independently. Scarbourgh is Stupid and Mika is a disgrace to women and should know better and should counter Scarborough and since she admittedly canât replace her with a woman that can.
Iâm so sick of the preening and smug self-importance of âSquint and the Meat Puppetâ. (Thank you Mr. Pierce)
Hard-edged whining can also turn people off. McCaskill comes off as bitchy IMO. Sheâs the wrong person to be representing Clinton. Iâm not even sure who put her in charge of defending Clinton.
And BTW, Democrats have no balls. Itâs been that way for years.
Edit to add:
Watched the whole thing. Sheâs lousy at debating issues. She got boxed in by accepting the premise of almost every question, i.e., was Clinton lying then about TPP when she was SoS or is she lying now about TPP? She spent almost the whole 10 minutes defending instead of pushing back. Even Mika pushed her around. And Nicole doesnât have a dog in the race? Ridiculous. McCaskill should not be the one walking point.
And BTW Claire, thereâs nothing âextremeâ about Sanders.
TPP has been in negotiations for ten years.
Hillary supported Obamaâs policies as SoS because thatâs part of the job.
Now that she is not constrained by being part of the Cabinet, she can speak freely.
Hear hear!!
HahaâŚlet me help you understand how questions can be attacks, Mika. Letâs start with this one:
âWhy was there a dead intern in your office?â
Say what you want but Claire had 2 great lines in that segment. First about not being able to be there every morning to shut Joe up, and the second about wanting him to wear a shock collar so she could press the button when he goes off on a tiradeâŚIâd pay to see that.
But I think the US only agreed to join the talks in 2008.
I agree with your other points.
