“We’re struggling to find anyone egregiously inappropriate, provocative and unhelpful enough…”
Or someone in the Republican House who has intelligence.
Oh gee, only five weeks delay. You guys confirm SC justices faster than that.
You know we could always just leave you out of the government since you don’t want to do the right things. Change the rules, no more GOP input on committees.
Or Jared Kushner’s security clearance…
Ohh, if only…
Seriously, 10 to 1, coat-less creep Gym Jordan will probably serve as moron-in-charge on this committee; very little will get done as his sole purpose is to trash the proceedings every minute of every meeting that takes place.
Hopefully, he will get his worthless ass ejected right quickly by the committee chair/majority.
Call me naive, but I am curious if Devin Nunes will be reappointed. Is that a foregone conclusion?
When you have a nefarious agenda - say hypothetically you intend to obfuscate the president’s collusion with Russia - you have to be subtle, smart, and sly so as to not draw too much attention. That stuff tends to be pad p/r for your party.
Nunes actions are obvious, stupid, and comic book style evil. It can’t be in Trump’s long term interest to have such a stupid lackey. There has to be better apparatchiks on the Republican roster.
Or not likely to be investigated by the same committee.
I trust Adam Schiff more than that.
Kevin McCarthy, the dullest, most dim-witted of the conservatives in Congress, gets to decide who gets to be on the Intelligence Committee. Isn’t that rich?
He can do that all day long. He’s not in charge.
I read somewhere that Nunes has already been named, it’s the others who are still missing.
“Devin Nunes…”
Yes, he’s already retained his party’s slot on that committee, if i read recent reports correctly.
“We are interviewing the biggest liars in our 199 member caucus. We’ve narrowed it down to 199 candidates.”
You’re right, “he’s not in charge”; but that won’t prevent him from attempting to disrupt the proceedings at every possible vital juncture while he’s present.
I read somewhere that Nunes has already been named, it’s the others who are still missing.
Thanks, probably good news. The incompetent enemy is just as much my friend as the enemy of my enemy.
Good. He can watch in real time as his obstruction unravels and he can’t do anything about it.
I can already see Schiff going “Yes, yes, very nice Devin, now be a good boy and play somewhere else.”
Guess they were much too busy running around in circles with tRump and the stupid shutdown or could it be they’re not all that interested in the Intelligence Committee and where it might lead?
