John, John, John… Their strategy is to win each news cycle. Their plan is to further enrich themselves. Everything/everyone else is simply collateral damage.

To a Republican like McCain, a strike is incomplete without collateral damage.

And if anyone knows about incoherent strategies for Syria its Johnny McWar. I don’t think there’s ever been a war the good Senator didn’t want us to get into one way or another. Last I recall, arming ā€œthe rebelsā€ was his harebrained idea. Which rebels John? Like we did with the Mujahideen in Afghanistan, that later brought us Osama Bin Laden?

Just when John learned the difference between Sunni and Shi’a, he forgot about all the other complicated relationships and factions who’ve been fighting in the Civil War. It’s true dRumpF needs some kind of plan…but this isn’t exactly the guy I’d be taking my advice from. His advice has always been ā€œdo somethingā€ or ā€œits never enoughā€. That’s the kind of meaningless granularity most people can live without.

Oh FFS can someone find a nursing home for gramps.
He’s on the loose again …
Using the street corner soap box, thinking everyone values his opinion …

I’m witcha, Jon. I’ve been off Grampy’s lawn or case for as long as he’s been off his feed, or off his game. Say anything you want, bud. We’re gonna be needing your vote someday. I hope.

McCain (today): Entire blame lies with Obama administration. Obama was too busy spying on Trump.

No, Matt, Matt…It’s a GAME CHANGER.

The strike was, shall we say, a royal bust? It was nowhere near effective. Then again, what do you expect from a President more concerned about looking macho than actually doing anything effective at all.

I keep reminding myself ā€œNobody watches on Sunday. Nobody watches on sunday. Nobody watches on sunday.ā€

Strike? Ineffective? Well, Kommander Kaos entire military strategy was misplaced. He said runways are cheap to fill in and fix, and in this case that was wrong.,He didn’t take into account that even Al Quaeda, ISIS and Syria PAY their contractors.

CBS is claiming, in a poll taken April 7-8 with a 4 point +/-, that Trump’s (only) approval (to date) rose 3 points due to the Syria ā€˜attack’?!?!
Sounds like CBS wants this love-starved President to make another war connection…

The takeaway would be that Trump needs a strategy. Except that that is as plain as the nose on Pinocchio’s face already.

Yeah, I want to start my day discussing which of the DC GOP is the oddest/most incompetent/etc.

C’mon, TPM, stay focused.

We’ve been listening to this man talk about ā€œstrategiesā€ for decades. What we’ve never heard him do is offer one. Let’s not for get that McCain comes from a family with several generations of it’s men becoming General officers. Admirals. But John McCain was passed over for that rank. That would be the rank strategy making is left to. The US Navy decided to keep John McCain from obtaining rank high enough to take part in strategy. Lets not forget that.

likely ā€œpartially to blameā€

I doubt McCain’s language would’ve been so reserved if the Obama administration had given a green light by saying Assad’s future was up to the Syrian people three days before the Butcher of Damascus gassed children.
