Discussion: McCain Says Trump Never Apologized To Him For 'War Hero' Comments

Did McCain ever say “Sorry to hear about your heel spurs. I hope they’re better now.”

Hmmm?

John I wouldn’t hold your breath waiting for a sincere apology from the mango moron.

Cowards never apologize.
They think it is cowardly.

I sincerely doubt that Donnie Two Scoops has apologized for anything in his entire life.

DT doesn’t “do” apologizing, being humble, or admitting errors. He only bullies.

He’s setting Trump up. There’s no way Trump will ignore this challenge.
Expect more lectures from Trump about what real patriots do…

Kelly is on pins and needles wondering how he can stop the inevitable Trump tweet along the lines of “I am glad McCain is dying/dead. Now maybe we can get Ocare repealed! #MAGA!!”. Because its already shaping up underneath that orange wig.

The apology needs to be public, not personal. The insult was public, the apology must be public.

Ain’t happening.

That’ll be in 45’s eulogy for McCain.

Trump will say something like “Regret that McCain is losing the battle to cancer. Kelly Ward will be a great replacement, however. She could serve right away, if McCain steps down. #chemtrails”

Except in a really sarcastic sort of way meant to mock and denigrate the other person. It’s the bully pattern.

Unless, in the case of McCain’s death, AZ elects a Democrat, any Republican pretender for McCain’s senate chair would be crazier than a flea on lindane. The Republican party has a ‘deep bench’ that runs the gamut from the incoherent to the unhinged.

You are probably correct - unfortunately. If Lindsey Graham is really a friend of John McCain why didn’t he go to war with Trump after the idiotic comments Trump made about McCain? All the of the other GOP presidential candidates should have declared themselves to be “never trumpers” at that time - unless Trump made a sincere public apology to McCain. Romney too - did he really think he had a shot to be Sec of State after he failed to endorse Trump? He should have backed Evan McMullin and made a bunch of anti-Trump appearances - did he really think HRC would be worse in the WH than Trump? Makes you wonder how some of these repubs ever ran a successful business…

McCain’s replacement will almost certainly be named, not elected. So yes, it will be a republican. And as I like to say, you can’t spell crazy without R-AZ.

My mistake. I knew that, I should have said, ‘when the election is eventually held.’

That being said, Flake’s seat is definitely winnable. The leading Democratic candidate, Krysten Sinema, already has a commanding lead over Flake…and Flake is having troubles with Ward, who polls even worse in a General match up.

After years of taunting President Obama about being born in Kenya and his investigators turning up all sorts of damning evidence in Hawaii, PP ended the discussion by saying

President Barack Obama was born in the United States. Period. Now we all want to get back to making America strong and great again.
