Discussion: Matt Lauer Slams 'Liberal' NYT For Saying Vaccination Divides The Right

Discussion for article #232844

So it’s also a Democratic Party issue? Really? Maybe Matt and Todd can point me to Democratic politicians who are contending that measles vaccines shouldn’t be mandatory and that vaccines in general do cause autism or are otherwise dangerous.

I know, I know, this is just the MSM playing their customary “both sides do it” card so they can still schmooze with their GOP guests.

I guess Matt hasn’t heard of Rand Paul or Chris Christie, huh?

Let’s make it clear: there are NO Democratic leaders saying that parents need some kind of “choice” in the matter of vaccinating their kids. None. Go screw yourself Lauer.

i’m convinced by the time this plays out, you’ll see an increase in anti-vaxxers.

Referring to a tweet from Hillary Clinton that read “The science is clear: The earth is round, the sky is blue, and #vaccineswork,” Todd said: “I think that came across as a little bit condescending.”

No Chuckles, not condescending - CORRECT.

Both Chucky Toad and Matty Liar are Republican mouthpieces. NBC news is mostly filled with overpaid intellectually uncurious showmen.

Chuck’s just feeling a little bit burned because he’s a believer in the TimeCube theory.

Grandmothers across America are going to kick your butt for that, oh clueless one.

We have one granddaughter, and on Saturday, we welcomed a grandson. There is no way my daughter and her husband would ever think twice about vaccinating their children.

It’s a debate that America should NOT be having.

Edit: Matt who? He fell off the grid for us a long time ago, Shortly after 9/11.

I think that came across as justifiably condescending.

Yup, a couple of hardcore repubs that somehow managed to slip into the loosley guarded gates of the liberal media and wreck havoc on dems.

I’ve seen this before… in fact it happens every day.

So facts are “condescending” to Chuck Todd.

Chuck Todd. doing his part to kowtow to the GOP at every opportunity. The sad part is that no one at NBC confronts him with his blatant bias.

Why shouldn’t Hillary be condescending to Dumberer and Dumberest?:

Exactly. This is now the classic example of the press creating a false equivalency. And in this case, a possible deadly one. There is no “story” here, Chuck Todd. The science is utterly clear. Someone needs to confront him if he has children.

Remember, both are members of the “1 percent”.

The great “BOTH SIDES DO IT”, Chuck Todd must be rubbing off on Lauer. And no both sides don’t do it. Matt Lauer is an idiot.

I read that Jake Tapper tried to make this an issue for Obama.

Then I read his measured comment.

Republicans need a ruler, but not an authoritarian one.
