“I apologize to the people of Illinois for my inappropriate remarks last week,” Kirk said in an email statement on Monday …

… "because I’m up for re-election soon."

Fo shizzle!

Uh, Obama pushed him into using that indecent language around famiies, children, people of faith by always playing the race card.

How’s that?

What Sen. Kirk meant to say:

“I’m sorry I got caught on an open mike.”

LOL. Don’t you know? – The Socialistic Communist Dictator Obama is all-powerful. Praise Allah. Amen.

I guess the people of Indiana, Wisconsin or any other state just need to get over it.

Except, of course, when he’s a tea-sipping, mom-jeans-wearing, gay wedding band-wearing, effete usurper.

Seriously though, i fail to see the huge offense in this comment.I’m a woman and not offended by the use of the word “ho” in this context. Just a couple of guys joking around. So what. Now to use it in the context of an abortion bill or an equal pay bill, that would be another thing. But this case is ado about nothing.

Pal with no gal –

Every woman should be angry - even the RW ladies - do you really appreciate being called a “ho”. NOT FUNNY !

I believe that had ¨Rep. Paul Ryan (R-OH)¨ yesterday as well.

I guess they see ¨asshole politician¨ and think ¨R-OH¨ automatically. But Sen. Kirk, sad to say, is all Illinois’ fault.

“well, you know, it seemed a lot funnier when I told that joke to the guys in the Senate dining room.”

It took so long for him to apologize because he really meant it. Republicans have so little respect for women that Kirk didn’t care. But he was confused as to whether he had insulted a gay man, too. He was told that he had and finally figured out that the GOP can’t treat the Log Cabin Republicans that way any longer without there being retaliation at some point.

Is Kirk a white guy trying to be black? (Psssst … it’s not working …)

A “ho” is a whore, but you knew that, so a Senator joking about another Senator and the absence of a whore at his side is offensive. Kirk thought he was cool using two words, ho and bro, that are in the popular lexicon, but he failed miserably and didn’t apologize appropriately.
