Inappropriate? No. Inaccurate? Yes. Lady Graham (R-Dowager Countess/Viscountess of Sissy) is much more of a “confirmed bachelor.”
He was saying he didn’t have a wife, which by using the word Ho, shows exactly what he thinks of his own wife, if he has one, and every other woman on the planet.
I think the image of a “rotating” first lady offensive as well and Lindsay should apologize for that.
Of all the things Republican senators have to apologize for, this comes in at about #106 on the list.

Ok…I am going to be incredibly insensitive and not PC…but if I heard him say that…I would have laughed my ass off. Coming out of another Senator’s mouth…please you guys know you would have thought it was funny (and yes I know women would not find it to be funny)…I think its funny he actually could think to say something like that (not your typical stuffy senate speak)

Henk, while I fully agree that the “ho” joke was way out of line, I disagree about the “rotating first lady” comment. I just don’t get why that’s offensive. This is the “confirmed bachelor” Lindsay Graham, so there’s no implication that these first lady responsibilities would extend into the bedroom. That would be offensive.
