Florida, which elected and re-elected admitted multi-billion dollar fraudster Rick Scott as its governor, has always had a high tolerance for hypocrisy. This year, we’ll find out if it also has a high tolerance for empty suits.

This is really stupid on the Rube’s part.
He told all of America, point blank, that he hated his job as Senator, he couldn’t get anything done and that’s why he should be POTUS. Didn’t work out.
Now he’s allowing himself to be duped into running again by the GOP establishment because their bench is so thin in FL. But I just don’t think he can get reelected. Hell, Chris Murphy was a Republican himself at one time so the Rube is going to have a real challenge on his hands.
Not to mention the fact that the Rube has burned so many bridges with the FL GOP. I mean between Lopez-Cantera, Beruff, the Bushes, this isn’t going to be easy by a long shot.
EDIT TO ADD: And, for added fun, he’s got Rump at the top of ticket to deal with (or avoid).

By all accounts, Rubio hates the senate and has apparently told this to everyone he knows. Too much work. He convinced himself if he wasn’t the nominee he would be the Veep.
Well, fate had other plans and Marco needs a job. At least until he can run for Governor.
I think he will too and I also think it’s why he opted to run for POTUS. He hates the Senate job but likes the paycheck and perks.
…and he’s got the worst Senate voting records to back it up. I hope Murphy will crush him. Badly.
Patrick Murphy. And he has been running…and winning…as a Democrat for awhile now. But I get your point. Florida is all kinds of strange, but its definitely not a solidly blue state. So someone like Murphy is going to be our best shot at winning that seat back.
Ten bucks says he doesn’t even win the nomination.
