Despite repeatedly insisting he would return to life as a private citizen after his failed bid for the presidency, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) will announce he's running for re-election on Wednesday, the Washington Post reported.
But the election is not on Wednesday.

He tried to run for president but was beaten - in his own state too- by a reality show star
He said he hated his job in the Senate
He claimed he was not going to run for his Senate seat
He claimed he’d be a private citizen
He couldn’t even stand up to Trump when he should have, and only started punching back when it was his neck on the line
And he is using the Orlando victim’s bodies as an excuse so he could run again.
The guy is a sleezebag.

When I watched him during the tragic Orlando shooting where he was again front and center, I could see he was relishing being in the spotlight. Coming down the steps of Air Force 1 with President Obama probably pushed his ego over the top and reignited his White House Fantasy. He’s looking at 2020, but if he loses, it’s really over.

Q polling has HRC over Trump by 8 points in FL and yet has Rubio over either Grayson or Murphy by about the same amount. That’s an extraordinary difference.

Two things I would point to: the first is that Rubio still enjoys strong name recognition as the incumbent and the second is that it’s a Q poll.
I have no doubt that the DNC is going to run some pretty blistering ads against him. As others have said, there’s a treasure trove of stuff. I think this is Murphy’s to lose.

I wouldn’t read too much into the polls. He has a huge name recognition advantage over Murphy right now. DNC will pour money into advertising and change that by November, and have already budgeted $20 million towards ads in the race before Rubio announced. Rubio not very popular in Florida (which is why Trump ate his lunch in his home state), and will be sharing a ticket with the Trump albatross But we need to get corrupt bombthrower Grayson out of the conversation as soon as possible and unite around Murphy. .
