The judge overseeing former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafortā€™s D.C. case wonā€™t change her ruling that the 69-year old lied to investigators about his contacts with an alleged Russian spy

Completely appropriate and unsurprising.

Rick Gates did provide some new information but (as prosecutors argued) it was not relevant to the specific lies for which Manafort was being held accountable.

I am predicting that Manafort will show up at his sentencing hearing in a wheel chair with spaghetti hanging out of his mouth, tuna fish salad on his head, torn clothing, and a seven day beard.

I hope there are tapes of poor Paul, who has certainly had quite a health downturn from that video of him walking quickly and easily into the courthouse.

Reading the headline, I got Manafort and Stone confused. Like Jim Jordan and Dennis Hastert, the GOP has repeating criminal narratives that defy clarity.

I doubt his lawyersā€™ sentencing memo has much effect either.

Manafort has been giving the court and the DOJ the shitty-finger for a long time now. And he just canā€™t seem to quit breaking the law.

Fuck him.

It is difficult to tell all these sleazy sonsofbitches apart, but I think only Stone would declare himself a sovereign citizen and refuse to recognize the authority of the court. The other two wouldnā€™t dare.

Vincent (the Chin) Gigante tried that experiment in 1990.

Did not work:

Vincent ā€˜The Chinā€™ Gigante Is Dead

BY JOEL ROBERTS
DECEMBER 19, 2005 / 3:21 PM / AP
Mob boss Vincent ā€œThe Chinā€ Gigante, the powerful Mafioso who avoided jail for decades by wandering the streets in a ratty bathrobe and slippers, feigning mental illness, died Monday in prison. He was 77.
The head of the Genovese crime family, who had suffered from heart disease, died at the federal prison in Springfield, Mo., said prison spokesman Al Quintero. It was the same place where rival mob boss John Gotti died of cancer in 2002 at age 61.

Manafort has lived a lifetime of crookedness and thus, no mercy shall be granted to him! Heā€™s a traitor and he deserves to have ALL the books thrown at him!

Keep him LOCKED UP!
