This sounds like a bigger deal than it is, from what l can tell from this anyway:
Jeez. I remember seeing that asshole stumbling down the streets of New York in his jammies and robe, pretending to be disoriented, on the evening news several times. And I live in California. It was a spectacle back then, but it seems to have become fairly popular in recent years despite the fact that it just delayed his incarceration and didn’t prevent it.

I think the headline is misleading. It’s not so much refusing to change as ruling that yeah, he still lied, and his lies were intentionally damaging to the investigation.

He’s been locked up in jail, since I think June 15th of 2018.
He’s presently awaiting sentencing to a federal prison.
Because, poo poo pants just go, without needing to be said… thus, poo poo pants.
