Kidding aside, I am very sorry for the victims and glad the cops were able to take out this guy before anymore people were shot. Thoughts of comfort and peace to the victims’ families and friends.

Not even Jerusalem in America is immune from gun violence in America. More unsuspecting victims murdered and wounded as the price to pay when fundamentalist religious zealotry and End Times predictions unite with fundamentalist 2nd Amendment zealotry and militias-restoring-True-Constitutional-Republic predictions, in a marriage performed and catered by the NRA. The billion-fold blessings of Mammon rain as blood over all who witness this union!

Perhaps we need to take a different approach to this matter and attack these Right Wing, gun-totiing Neanderthals where we know they’re vulnerable.
We should just ask them: “Why are you listening to a guy named 'LaPierre’?”
It sounds…you know - French and effete and not-at-all-tough. If a Democrat with the name “LaPierre” were running for president, we’d never hear the end of it from these clowns.

Up until he started shooting people, I’m sure the NRA would claim he was just another law abiding person exercising his second amendment rights.
That’s the problem with the NRA and open carry - there is no way to tell the difference between someone exercising open carry and a homicidal maniac until the shooting starts.

I just have a feeling that this will turn out to be just like, as Bill Maher so sagaciously noted, every other recent mass murder in the US, with a statistically insignificant few exceptions. It will be a single white male who has never been laid.
