The Times reported that in his first court appearance over the weekend, Gallion was ordered to hand over all firearms to a family member for safekeeping and to steer clear of alcohol and controlled substances. He reportedly struggles with depression and anxiety, and told police he had taken anti-anxiety medication and consumed a 22-ounce beer Friday before seeing the movie.

Clearly lots of good judgment in general. Thank God they let him out on $25,000 in bail.

I’m going with this…

So, he has to turn over all of his guns to a relative. Yeah, I’m sure they will be safe, then, and he’ll NEVER get them back!

another person making the case that the system for approving gun purchases is broken… mental illness requiring medication and known to his family…

yet here he is seemingly paranoid in a theater with a gun…

Seriously I read a piece the other day that snapped some of this into focus. Basic idea was you make it a little bit harder to get, say, handguns—you have to fill out extra forms and send them in, you have to take a safety course, that sort of thing. And no carry permits without some justification, none of this shall-issue stuff. You have just a few extra hurdles, hoops to jump through, and a lot of goofy characters like this just won’t bother. It’s too much trouble. We can’t become transfixed with the idea that this can be eliminated entirely if we keep waiting for a perfect solution. Gunshot wounds are pretty devastating even if you survive, and cutting out just some of them would be very much worth doing.

The summary of this POS film is this so nobody should be surprise it’s going to attract gun totin’ psychos.

strong combat violence throughout, bloody images, and language.

Fox: Give a medal to this Patriot. Self preservation at any cost is a constitutional right.

Hard to comprehend, but for a large contingent of the crowd that would go to see such a film, the “language” would be the point of contention and the cause of tsk-tsking.

In a statement to police quoted by The Seattle Times, 29-year-old Dane Gallion said he brought a firearm to a screening of Michael Bay’s “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi” in Renton because he was “concerned about recent mass shootings in public places.” Gallion said in the statement that he wore the gun unholstered in his waistband for the same reason.

He reportedly struggles with depression and anxiety, and told police he had taken anti-anxiety medication and consumed a 22-ounce beer Friday before seeing the movie.

Ah yes, just the sort of clear headed sense of good judgment you would want in your local self-appointed vigilante “good guy with a gun” in the event of a theater shooting.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

so much for the ammosexual rhetoric that a good guy with a gun could have stopped any of the dozens of mass shootings in America over recent years.

You’re probably aware that Trump rented a theatre in Des Moines to show this film and gave out free tickets.

A man arrested for accidentally shooting a woman at a Washington state movie theater on Friday reportedly told police that he was armed because he feared mass shootings.

When I fear a mass shooting, I stay home. Just me.

“The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”

And armed drunk depressed paranoiacs in our movie theaters.

The only defense against a good guy with a gun is an innocent woman’s shoulder.

I have not seen the movie but from what I have read and heard, the movie pretty much absolves Clinton from giving a "stand down"order, and instead it was the CIA folks who had the special forces protecting them, who didn’t want the forces to go help Stevens and the others. In addition, Stevens rejected security on many occasions. I also read the movie corroborates the fact that everything was happening very quickly leaving little time to ask for help. I can’t imagine most of the crazies who went there to validate their insanity was a big disappointment

Gallion himself told the arresting officer that another movie attendee had reached for his crotch, causing him to accidentally fire the weapon.

That’s okay, Dane, it happens to lots of ammosexuals. Wanna cuddle?

Maybe as a society we are just asking to be shot if this is the consequence of taking a gun into a theater while intoxicated, shooting a woman, then leaving to go to a neighboring restaurant. Yeah we’re asking for it.

I think Kevlar vest manufacturers are really dropping the ball. Whether your greatest concern is a terrorist or a dipstick wanna be with a pistol nestled up against his junk, body armor is your best defense. Even if you yourself are the dipstick wanna be. It seems like the manufacturers and retailers of body armor should be selling themselves more aggressively
