You seem to misunderstand the Governor’s action. He took away the rights of those who were free to discriminate before under the asswipe Jindal.

I think you misread the headline–so did I at first. I had to look at it several times. Here it is:

Louisiana Guv Overturns Order Protecting Discrimination Against LGBT Individuals

He overturned Jindal’s order which protected discrimination against LGBT individuals. In other words, he said, no, you CANNOT discriminate on the basis of sexual preference.

Beat me to it! To the next smug, privileged fool who harrumphs and complains that Blue Dogs are just DINOs and Republicans and Democrats are all the same, here’s a prime example of how Democrats are NOTHING like Republicans. Nothing at all. You may not like centrist Democrats. They may not do the things you’d like them to do ALL the time, but they’ll do what you’d like most of the time. The inability to reconcile that makes you only slightly better than a Tea Bagger (slightly, because you’re not a Republican). Slightly.

I think both you and @krusher missed that @imkmu3 was dropping the snark on us.

This is what happens when you elect a grown up to office, Country. Why people still vote for someone at the kid’s table is beyond me?

Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards (D) signed an executive order on
Wednesday that prevents businesses from being able to discriminate
against LGBT individuals, NBC News reported.

Perhaps this new guy won’t promote Voter ID laws to disenfranchise large swaths of his population either…

This is how quickly we can sometimes turn things around. Bravo, Governor.

We need more Democratic governors.

“…failed presidential candidate Bobby Jindal.”

Should be his moniker in every article by every journalist in perpetuity.

Along with “hatemongering homophobic bigot”.

And, perhaps, “former exorcist”.

Thank you , John Bel Edwards. Be safe.

Governor John Bel Edwards obviously hates religious people. No other conclusions may be drawn from this.

Well, we can also conclude that this is Obama’s fault, but that’s a given.

I think your sarcasm receptor may be faulty…imkmu3 was taking a snide shot at those simpletons that buy into the oft-repeated canard that there’s no difference between Democrats and Republicans.

Imkmu3 even included the apparently not universally recognized sarcasm identifier.

It was snark! S N A R K!

Huh. Hadn’t thought of that. Well, it certainly could be true! It’s been a long day and my sarcasm detector may indeed be malfunctioning.

I totally did miss that. Not one of my more astute days, clearly.

This wouldn’t have happened if Bobby Jindal were still governor.

And he would have pointed out how it is President Obama’s fault
