It was used so frequently by people around me growing up it wasn’t odd to hear it. I always knew it was a slur because of the way people enunciated it.

I was taken aback by the quality of Lady Gaga’s voice – obviously well-trained – and she did a stunning job of interpreting the songs. She doesn’t need to dress outlandishly anymore. Her bona fides as a remarkable artist are there for everyone to see and hear.

If anyone has heard Lady Gaga’s duets with Tony Bennet, they would certainly understand that she is very talented and professional. Regarding the fool who made the comment on the Fox affiliate: when you hire people, especially women, on the basis of looks, you are going to get some really ignorant “journalists.”

We have a local faux news affiliate where I live too, but they usually have their offensive shit on when its sent over from the mothership, already pre-packaged.
Come to think of it, they also did a Lady Gaga “spontaneous” bit this morning here by the local newscasters. It was meant to look and sound spontaneous, but it came off just totally lame instead. Some cameraman kept saying Lady Gaga over and over again as if the name alone was supposed to be funny, and he did it as if he was black but is actually a white guy. It was just weird.
And that other Eyetalian from Queens Tony Di Benedetto she works with, also walking off with our gold.
