I think that with the exception of large segments of those on the right in the US, most of the world sees the methods used after 9-11 as forms of torture.

What’s despicable is that people like Cheney hate the truth. And she’s got a lot of nerve saying that Obama is wasting time when her party’s whole agenda has been to stop him from doing anything at all. The Republicans are all about the word “No”.

Actually, I think Oswald’s wife and children both admitted what he did and also admitted that it was wrong. They also had a sense of propriety and didn’t put themselves out in the media. That makes Liz Cheney’s behavior even more despicable by comparison.

It is the height of kitten and puppy season, perhaps they were occupied with a ceremonial strangling fundraiser? Or it could be that they were busy stomping a recent sea turtle hatch somewhere around the planet.
Whatever, I always enjoy starting a pleasant Sunday morning reviewing comments by two of the most despicable bags of effluence on the planet. Gives a certain edge to my day.

Wow, she’s awful. Bush and Cheney deceived the country with their too-cute-by-half lies about torture. Their well-rehearsed line was that the “U.S. doesn’t torture”, which actually meant “The sh*t we’re doing is absolutely positively something you’d call torture, but we’ve figured out a narrow legal definition by which we think we can justify not calling it that, only we won’t make that argument in public or even say that we’re making it at all.” Such rank dishonesty, and this creep has the nerve to attack Obama for going on the record honestly? Wow.
