Is anyone really surprised about this? I know I am not. I wonder who Ted Nugent will endorse for the GOP nominee in 2016? I would bet on Rick Santorum or Ted Cruz, whichever is craziest.

I think hypothetically he should be thrown into a hypothetical jail, interviewed by hypothetical Agents, then have a hypothetical trial and send him to a hypothetical prison.
It’s not the first time he’s made similar threats.

You would think the NRA would want to run from the Nuge the same as they ran from George Zimmerman. It’s astounding an organization would keep a ticking time bomb nut around. Carry on Ted the draft dodging, wildlife poacher- you’re so patriotic!

You’re talking about an organization that defends the right to bear arms for mental patients, the blind, and those on terrorist watch lists and no-fly lists. It seems to me that Nugent is no more extreme than the average NRA card holder.
When I was a kid, I took gun safety and shooting courses led by NRA members at the local YMCA. Some of that stuff was really beneficial, particularly as Dad wasn’t too oriented in that direction and would not have been one to promote safety. It really disappoints me that the NRA has gone from a great civic organization into one populated by psycho neck biting lunatics. I’m not sure how something like that happens.

I’m going out on a limb here and predicting that Ted Nugent will go through his existence on this earth never having shot anyone, been involved in a serious fistfight, or mouthed off to anyone more than three-fourths of his size over a parking space. I’ve known plenty of house cats who were genuine badasses. Ted is a genuine loudmouth, but heart for actual fighting he hasn’t got.
