This killing of young black men by police has become an epidemic and as long as they get away with it, nothing will change. A young black manâs life seems to have little value. How pathetic and disgraceful.

Yeah, thatâs why he was shot. Walking/driving while Black gets you stopped and interrogated; running away while Black gets you shot.

There couldnât be more than one African American in Utah, could there?
Amazing, with almost no African Americans in the state (Wikipedia states the 2010 census pegs it at 1.1%) they still manage to find one to shoot in the back.

Didnât they have an MRAP they could have fired up and chased him down in? I thought that is why they had those armored personnel carriers, so they could be safe while encountering criminalsâŚor minoritiesâŚ
They donât shoot to drop the fleeing suspect so they can arrest him. Theyâre shooting to kill. Because a person running away is a threat to them. Thatâs the story and theyâre stickinâ to it.

I agree. It is way beyond disgraceful and the fact that nothing is being done about it is even more disgraceful. Is it any wonder why there are so many angry young black men?
