Of course not! We don’t shame young men into remaining virgins until marriage. We don’t tell them that their value as human beings and viable partners are based on waiting until marriage to have sex. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. And if sex leads to these many horribles for girls, why doesn’t it have the same effect on boys? Oh, right, because women are hostages to their emotions.

I attended a Catholic girls’ school in the 60’s and never was subjected to anything this warped or even close to it. It’s scary to think that people of this mindset are holding jobs that make them responsible for the wellbeing of others.

I’m not clear on whether the audience here included any young men. As described the message of the event seems to be that for women lack of purity results in all this bad stuff. I guess guys can just go ahead and do guy stuff without consequence.
