Discussion: Larry Sabato's Final Prediction: Clinton Wins, With A Tied Senate

In a tied Senate, which party would be Senate Majority Leader? Which party chairs the committees?

I hope you’re right, because I want to feel good about America again. It’s been a hard election on everyone. I’m optimistic, too.

First woman president! WAHOOO!!!

I am so glad that Election Day is finally here! Have to say that I’m feeling pretty optimistic about her being declared the winner/victor in becoming our 45th President of the United States!

She understand that we need her now more than ever and I believe she will do just as she said she would. However, We The People must hold our end and make her accountable along with Congress too!

I don’t. I want 51-52 seats. (More if possible.)

He wouldn’t dare.

Vice President Kaine in his Constitutional role as President of the Senate would cast any tie-breaking vote, so the Democrats would actually be the official Majority if the number of seats were tied 50-50.
