This is a two-day-old ânewsâ.
Plus, Iâm kinda tired of portraying McCain as a bipartisan hero, though I think thatâs not the main point of Klobucharâs speech. (I might be too picky today)
ok, thatâs not a good way to maximise her minutes.
There is a reason that Trump said,
âI love the poorly educatedâ
Amy, Johnâs not running in 2020. You are. Are you telling us you didnât know on 1/20/2017 how dangerous Trump was? Most Clinton voters had figured that out.
Might have been pre-written and set to automatically run today.
I wasnât a big John McCain fan: and he was certainly no âbipartisan heroâ. However, he was a towering giant compared to the current crop of leading GOP pols.
See my other post. This point that Klobuchar made would have been best made sequentiallyâŚthe dictator part being part of a larger narrative.
People sometimes group women (and in Klobucharâs case UNMARRIED women she should be appealing to) as the same type of target audience of youngsters: hard-working and not paid attention to.
Unmarried women have a vast potential, which we have not scratched the surface on. The dearth of attention paid to the female candidates who have thrown their hat in the ring is embarrassing and tells us as much about ourselves as our electing a man like Trump.
Oooohhh, doubting Trumpâs legitimacy, thatâs the new treason isnât it? Better get the treason police on that McCain fellow pronto! Maybe Bill Barr can exhume McCainâs corpse, put it on trial and kill him again.
Yep. Even after factoring in all of the illegal and unethical things that occurred in the 2016 election, I still cannot escape the conclusion that HRC lost mainly because of her gender. As I posted on another site, the attitude of Dem voters toward the female candidates seems to be âThanks for stopping byâ.
Exactly. I always feel theyâve become some tokens for the so-called âdiversityâ.
The problem that I have with Klobucharâs âdeity worshipâ of âGentleman Johnnyâ, is that it ignores that he (somewhat) bent over backwards to get that Trump nod and aside from when he broke Trumpâs âheartâ, he did his damndest to stay in â45âsâ graces.
I donât want to talk bad of the dead, but McCain would have been tarred and feathered had he stuck around.
Too bad itâs not on video
I, for one, am more than a little tired of the myth of Saint John McCain. He remained loyal to the Republican party (party before country, always) and, by extension, to tRumpism until the day he died.
When did Klobuchar become unmarried?
Itâs a bigger problem than just Klobucharâs. Iâm not sure whether itâs the fault of Dem partyâs message or the mediaâs bias.
Had Susie Concered Collins not voted for Brat, sheâd still be worshipped by many liberal media outlets as a maverick. And every time some GOPers do their fucking job by opposing Trump, theyâre also applauded as if they were heroes.
FYI â Klobuchar is a married woman with one child. I donât think sheâs grouping women into categories either if thatâs what youâre saying.
I think that itâs more so a history thing.
Americans want to believe that Trump is an anomaly (Biden), but Trump is more so a âscratch the surfaceâ.
Modern day Republicans had a problem with twice losing to Obama and a Clinton win would have turned them into harridans.
Add to this, an American press that is somewha naive and shell-shocked about '16 and it shouldnât shock folks that Collins got a place in the sun.
âBecause he knew more than any of us what we were facing as a nation.â
Uh, nope. And if you didnât realize it as much as or more than McCain possibly did, then this goes in the âNot qualified to be presidentâ column.
McCain voted for dictator Trump and never spoke against him. Not even when bon-spurs Trump diminished his and all veteransâ service.
If he knew what Klobachar says he knew, this just shows him a sad piece of bystander human. Not the upstander she is making him out to be.
Very sad and dangerous times for this country. For the World.
