If you don’t believe me, just imagine the reverse situation. Suppose Robbie Mook was directly hostility at Kelly via social media. It would be the top story at FOX, and probably at many other media outlets.

Ms. Kelly, your family does not deserve what is happening to you and them. Living in fear is something that no one should have to endure, especially at the hands of such a monster as Donald Trump. Many of the women who stepped forward to tell about his sexual assaults are now in hiding or being protected. The young woman he raped at 13 and her family have fled the country. And, while I am sorry in part for you situation, you must also take some responsibility for the rise of Donald Trump.
You chose to work for FOX and your rose up their ranks fairly quickly based as much on your looks as on your abilities. You cannot deny that simple fact, because at FOX real journalism was not encouraged. Now you have a situation where you truly did try to be a hard-hitting journalist, and you found yourself facing off against your bosses and Trump and his team of thugs. Where was your hard-hitting journalism when Trump was using the Birther Movement to propel himself into this position? Where was your hard-hitting professionalism when the GOP was trashing the ACA or Trump was talking tough about illegal immigrants or Muslims? Where was it? It was in your rather large paycheck for pushing the propaganda of Murdoch and Ailes. You helped create the atmosphere in which Trump rose like a weed into every home in this nation. Unfortunately, now your children will have to pay for your lack of professionalism and blind journalism. That is the trouble with propaganda - it often comes back to bite you.
So, my sympathies on your current problems for you and your family. But look in the mirror and understand that you and your cohorts, along with the rest of a lazy, easily led media, are responsible for this disaster. Perhaps you should resign and find a job actually reporting real news and being a real journalist with integrity, instead of a blond collecting a paycheck to parrot GOP propaganda.
I sympathize and I agree, it’s not appropriate. But Megyn, you’ve been parroting right-wing talking points and propaganda at Fox News for 12 years. This is the style of politics you have been advocating, and the style of rhetoric you have been practicing, for your entire career there. You don’t come to the table with clean hands.
And now you’re suffering under the same umbrella of harassment and threat to which you’ve exposed many of Fox News’s victims yourself. It’s hard not to think of the word karma.

It’s that far corner of the internet that really enjoys nastiness and threats and unfortunately there is a man who works for Donald Trump whose job it is to stir these people up and that man needs to stop doing that. His name is Dan Scavino.
Why, they are just deplorable.

But apparently they are okay with it. Until that “vast majority” stand up publicly and denounce that other “far corner of the internet that really enjoys nastiness and threats” and those in the Trump administration little is going to change. The media is responsible for both of those groups, the onus is on them to push that vast majority to do what is correct and moral.
Megyn, sweetie-darling, this and much worse is the price to pay as a journalist in a fascist state. I’d feel a lot more sympathetic for your plight if you weren’t working for one of the propaganda outlets that has been egging on these deplorables for so long.
At Fox News self-awareness is not something they dabble in.
Now I have sympathy for Megan Kelly. Let the self loathing begin.
It is not an appropriate price to pay for doing her job. She’s got that right.

No, encouraging threats against any journalist when you are a politician running for the highest office in the land, is unacceptable. Full stop. That the kids require armed guards adds an extra layer of sleaze.
