Iā€™m not sure itā€™s as ā€œbrilliantā€ as the impression you have. From what I saw at least 90% of MSNBC and 50% of CNN programming from the main shows both yesterday and today kept their guns blazing on the Russia story.

Blue states have higher tax rate. Companies go to Red states only because they can avoid taxes and/or benefits to employees. TX for example, allows companies to not offer health benefits, increasing their bottom line.

First of all, this is horrible. And it gets more horrible every day that Trump does not comment on it.

Itā€™s interesting that the international component of this isnā€™t being discussed more. Second of allā€“India is likely getting angrier and angrier every moment that Trump is silent.

In this same vein, I heard an interesting interview with an Israeli reporter the other day. His impression was that Bibi was not being as outspoken as he normally would be about the anti-semitic attacks in the US. The reporter said that typically many of the these incidents would ave inspired a public statement. But thereā€™s been relative silence on Bibiā€™s side.

I completely agree, except thereā€™s an aspect of the Republican machine thatā€™s not just a bs-generator.

I think most people have forgotten the fact it was conservative operatives, acting on behalf of the Republican Party, who created, developed and refined the concept of ā€œfake newsā€ in the election.

I bet most conservatives believe ā€œfake newsā€ is a creature of evil liberalism.
