Anyone who’s been watching closely knows without a doubt that Trump’s vile rhetoric has amped these buttheads up into a patriot/secessionist frenzy, and now they gather together in the name o’ Trump, and validate each others’ rage and fear and loathing, drunkenly repeating the catchwords and bumpersticker slogans that FOX and Luntz and the rest of the recalcitrant right provides them in their daily dose of drive time hate radio.
Brownback is dodging that very important truth. If something violent happens, he shares the guilt for ignoring and deferring away from this real issue.
It is too late to stop Trump from lighting the fuse that compels these wildmen into their final, bloody sovereign shootout.
