Discussion: Judiciary Dem On Pelosi 'Prison' Remark: 'I Don't Have Any Difficulty With Those Words'

If I could have cleared the President of criminal conduct, I would have done so. I cannot do so.

And did Fox have difficulty with 'Lock her up!" ?

First of all, Pelosi’s comments were made in private and then leaked, perhaps deliberately, but even so, that is substantially different than yelling “lock her up” at campaign events.

Secondly, beyond numerous examples of Obstruction of Justice, we already know he’s “Individual one” and has committed campaign finance violations -also criminal acts. The only -ONLY -reason he wasn’t indicted is because of some ridiculous OLC opinion Mueller felt bound to. Glad to see Dems not backing down or apologizing for the truth.

I am very glad that Faux News is keeping these words from Speaker Pelosi alive. The more their base hears these words, and the more comfortable people seem to be discussing the likelihood that the Dotard really is a criminal and his election was secured by illegitimate means, the better it is for this entire country!

I would also like Trump hauled off to jail, debtor’s prison would be nice. A little civil asset forfeiture, or a lot, would just fine.

That’s the kind of whatabouting I can appreciate. They accused Hillary of having committed crimes they assumed they would find if they looked because they’ve told themselves for thirty years what criminals those Clintons are. Trump has committed and confessed his crimes and impeachable offenses on national TV, so it’s really not a comparable situation.

And since Trump can not be charged with crimes while as POTUS then all charges need to be filed under seal awaiting his leaving office, by election, or by impeachment, or just an act of Miss Karma Is a B*tch.
Now can we round up all his political appointees and charge them with “theft of honest services”?

I don’t.

Let him rot there in anonymity.

The remark got under Trump’s thin orange skin -bigly. Turning the tables is a great response. His rallies continue to erupt in roars of lock her up. The rallies are nothing more than hate fests.

Unrepentant criminals and frauds often wind up in prison, although rich white males often do not—regardless of what crimes they may have committed. In any event, Trump is innocent until proven guilty and it might be best for Dems to focus on making the case rather than fixing the punishment. We should also remember that there is no Constitutional bar on state prosecutions of a sitting President, and I think that’s where talk of Trump’s fate with regard to criminal charges may ultimately lie.

Personally, I have no difficulty with Pelosi’s remarks. In fact, I encourage and support both the words and the ideas. More like that please!

And, just an aside, this article is desperately in need of an editor and a good spell-checking. Missing words, misspelled words, entirely new concepts (African market president!)…

Happy Sunday!
