A HIT LIST. Stockpiles of Weapons and Ammo. Maps of target’s homes. Manifesto claiming he wanted to start a “race war”.
On top of that; Drug abuse. Delusions of Grandeur. (well, the POTUS has those too, so…)

I guess the Judge is right, if prosecutors think he’s a serious risk and want to keep him locked up, then charge him with a serious crime. Now if it’s a bullshit case…

Not really. My understanding is that these charges were brought via grand jury and therefore they can’t just wily-nilly add to them. I’m not really a crim lawyer though, so that could be wrong.
From CNN:
Hasson’s defense attorney will propose options for supervised release at a future hearing.
“He’s got to have a whole lot of supervision,” Day said. “Somebody who’s got eyes and ears on him like nobody’s business.”
We need the background on why a decision wasn’t made on the terrorism charge.

Indeed we can. And for once I can say I’m surprised, although astonished and outraged is closer to the truth. If this administration won’t prosecute a murder plot, then the arguments for waiting to impeach just got a whole lot weaker. Un-fucking-believable.
ETA I reacted too quickly and garbled what the prosecutors are and aren’t doing here. But if a white nationalist plotting to kill people for obvious political reasons isn’t a terrorist then I’m a bit puzzled who is, and if he’s not a danger to the community I again wonder who might be.

Not going to be surprised to find out that it came down from Trump or one of his lackeys that terrorism charges for right wing extremists will be frowned upon by the up-n-ups after the ADL released that report that quite publicly showed that every single terrorist attack in the US in 2018 was right-wing extremists.
