A judge ordered these police records destroyed, not sealed, but destroyed? I wonder who has the motivation and legal standing to investigate this action by “the court”?

This judge’s outrageous actions, as well as the comments by Huckabee, illustrate the essential character of Evangelical Christianism.
To those outside the Evangelical Christianist bubble, the nature of Josh Duggar’s criminal actions are seriously disturbing, as are the actions of the Duggar family and the Arkansas criminal justice system in covering them up. However, within the closed, insular, and perverted universe of today’s “Conservative Christian” movement, Ted Nugent’s enthusiastic songs and statements about having sex with underage girls have been completely ignored. We’ve seen Phil Robertson, patriarch of the Duck Commander morons extolling the virtues of wedding and bedding underage girls with nary a peep of protest from supposed “family values” Christianists. And, perhaps most disgustingly, we get to hear Republican Christianists not only downplay the brutal assaultive nature of rape while joyfully celebrating the pregnancies that result, but also sponsor legislation and policies that give rapists legal access to the children their victims have given birth to.
In other words, as long as the sexual predators are white males and the victims are female, “family values” Christianists and Republicans will make excuses for it. Why? Because similar kinds of actions are repeatedly described approvingly in the Old Testament. They only give a shit about sex when it involves people of the same sex, whether it’s consensual or criminal.
This horrible story will have very short legs not just within the Evangelical Christianist and conservative movements (not that there’s any real separation between the two), but also within the non-Fox mainstream media. The quivering, ignorant, lazy stenographers who make up the vast majority of the nation’s “professional journalists” are petrified at the prospect of going after the Christianist hypocrites who effectively control today’s Republican Party, and the Democratic Party is right there with them, crouching in fear at appearing to be anti-religion.

Correction, Huckabee.
Those who run to the defense of this pervert and his freakish family have demeaned and dehumanized the children who were his victims. Those defenders have revealed that they could give a good goddamn about the impact these incidents had on those victims, who as innocent young girls were forced to accept the apology of their molester as the only consequence for his actions. Further, since there was no psychological evaluation or counseling of the offender save with a cop who’s serving 56 years in prison for kiddie porn, we have no clue whether any child is safe in Josh Duggar’s presence to this day.
Huckabee, you are the prototypical evilgelical Christian fascist, and a prime exemplar of the American Taliban. You are the very face of the Christian version of Boko Haram. This excuse making is nothing more than your brand of sharia law, where the males can do what they will and the females have to submit and shut up. You make me sick.

The fact that a judge could take this action means that there was damning information in those police reports.
EDIT: This decision by Zimmerman apparently was in response to a motion filed by one of the victims:
According to Washington County Circuit Court documents obtained by
Radar, a “Jane Doe 1,” or the “Movant,” has filed a motion to expunge
the explosive Springdale Police Department report making the rounds
online.
“The Police Report contains information, which may directly or
indirectly identify the Movant as a victim of a sex crime, and Movant is
a minor child,” the document states.
“Accordingly, to protect the identity of the movant….this Court
orders that the Police Report be destroyed and expunged from the public
records, and further requires that any and all copies of the same be
destroyed.”
The document cites Arkansas law subchapter 11, which states “a law
enforcement agency shall not disclose to the public information directly
or indirectly identifying the victim of a sex crime.”
Circuit judge Stacey Zimmerman signed and filed the papers today, May 21.

So far these criminally idiotic hypocrites have done nothing but try to cover Josh and his parents culpability.
As of yet I have heard nothing about the health and caring of Josh’s victims—except to
say little girls (his sisters) who were under ten years of age—forgave him.

This story just gets stranger and stranger, and I suspect there is a LOT still to come out, with the potential for taking down this judge and Huckabee too. I’m still astounded that Huckabee would issue any other statement than, “We’re praying for the family.” Instead, he offers a full-throated defense. Very interesting. In any case, this is an example of the bubble not serving them well, because most normal folks already thought there was something a little off about the Duggars. In evangelical circles, perhaps the brother molesting the younger sisters doesn’t seem such a big deal, but in the real world, people hear this stuff and recoil.

It speaks volumes that Huckabee rushed to stand by the family’s side and start babbling about forgiveness. In any sane world view, ANY politician puts as much distance as possible between him/herself and an admitted child molester.
Even the old adage about getting elected in Louisiana recognizes that…“Only a dead girl or a live little boy in your bed” can stop you from winning an election.
The whisper campaigns against Huckabee just took a very ugly turn.
