She has never lived in DC. The DC wives thought McCain sucked for the way he treated his first wife. Cindy moved to Washington, and at the first Senate Wivesā luncheon, the wives put the first wifeās name on the place card. Cindy left DC and hasnāt lived there full-time since. She occasionally shows up when McCain has an invitation to a state dinner.
