I’m not a Palin fan, but I think it’s irresponsible of TPM to include that Sarah was yelling obscenities “according to at least one account.” I can understand reporting that when the story was new, and the details were sketchy, but it is an anonymous source and has not been verified by any of the witnesses in the police report. In fact, in the audio tapes your website published, both Todd and Sarah seem relatively calm (much calmer than I would be if my daughter had just been “assaulted”), and Sarah can be heard telling her kids not to cuss. Good journalists dismiss earlier info that does not pan out in subsequent reports.
