Discussion: Jindal Says He's 'Tired Of Hyphenated Americans'

Discussion for article #233740

To be fair, thereā€™s a way to make this argument without being a totally racist fucknugget but, unfortunately for the GOP/Teatrolls, it starts with not being a totally racist fucknugget.

ā€œIt wouldnā€™t be about American exceptionalism, the way that you and I learned about why this is the greatest country in the history of the world.ā€

It wouldnā€™t be about American exceptionalism, the reason that you and I believe Amurika is infallible and has the right to do whatever the fuck it wants to whoever the fuck it wants, whenever the fuck it wants.

President Jindal will outlaw St. Patrickā€™s Day. And send in armed forces to shut down any remaining Chinatowns, lay siege to all Koreatowns, and destroy all markets renting Bollywood videos.

ā€œIā€™m tired of hyphenated Americans,ā€ he continued.

Considering that heā€™s a ā€œdip-shitā€ and a ā€œfuck-upā€, I can well imagine.

Itā€™s a hoot that right after heā€™s quoted as deploring hyphenated terms such as Indian-American, the reporting refers to him as Indian American. His parents were born in India. That makes him Indian-American.

Pseudo Southerner Good 'Ol Boy ā€˜Bobbyā€™ Jindalā€¦ ya know if he were really honest heā€™d be trying to replace the Louisiana Legal Codes with the bibleā€¦ you knowā€¦ since the Louisiana Codes are based on Napoleanic Codes and not the bibleā€¦

Whatā€™s with the Republican obsession with ā€œAmerican exceptionalismā€? Growing up I learned about American history. Good stuff that happened in this country, and bad stuff too. Why would anyone actively campaign to focus only on the good stuff, and this absurd idea that our country is impartially speaking the BEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD? I mean, who needs to believe that? What kind of weirdo insecurities are so bedeviling these Republicans?

Ahhh CPAC. Where we get to watch the race of the stupid to impress the rubes. My favorite part, outside of the faux candidates making absolutely idiotic statements, are shots of the lobby that show all the hucksters lining up to fleece the crowd.

Jindal says heā€™s tired of hyphenated Americans.

Iā€™m tired of token white exceptionalists pretending that assimilation isnā€™t a mutual concern.

And Iā€™m pretty tired of Jindal, but heā€™s still talking.
