He really isn’t some puppet lap dog doing their bidding. He is of the same mind, one of the cult who will soon be in a position to interpret the Constitution according to its original intent to put power in the hands of the wealthy, white male land owners.

Seriously. This is rather a question of whether a man with this many doubts about his character and partisanship should sit on our highest court for 40 years. I don’t know why they don’t just find another jurist that passes the non-partisan smell test, even if s/he is more conservative.

Well. I certainly hope Mr. Flake’s record of immorality follows him as he tries to create a professional life after the Senate. His clients, associates and colleagues should be reminded of his attitude toward sexual assault.

I think that would be a Wonderful Idea, Really I do. But motivation is the problem. Until things become so bad that it personally touches every last American who doesn’t like what’s going on, you’d never get enough people interested in their own self-interest to join a National Strike. No one can be sure that despite all that’s happened that most of these same people will be bothered to vote 38 short days from now.
This same problem is why we need so very badly to rejuvenate the Unions in America today. They could call a general strike, and make it stick. then people would join it.

My biggest fear is that the pressure on Kavanaugh demanding an investigation of the assault charges will lose its strength once he is confirmed. If our party leaders don’t continue to pressure for resolving the assault allegations, the party will have failed all of us. House Judiciary can initiate an investigation of Kavanaugh next January.
Well he has his future as a lobbyist to safeguard.

Because he calculated in in Arizona, he can afford to lose the votes of outraged women more than he can afford to lose the votes of angry old deranged Republicans.
