I believe Kavanaugh is the lynchpin for acquiring the “5th supreme seat” and achieving their demented future legislation schemings. The GOP has been planning this coup for decades. I’m old. I have watched it unfold. Kavinaugh is an avid right wing zealot, and he will gleefully do their bidding. It has become crystal clear this week that the entire GOP believe that they are entitled to all they can take from America.

I think the right response from now on would be to simply surround them, stand in silence, and say nothing. No shouting, no chanting – just endless witness from citizens who see them for what they are and despise them.
Also, by god, we vote them back to wherever they came from.

There are intermediary steps. Widespread civil disobedience and the willingness to shed our own blood in the streets when their response is escalating fascist police-state tactics to stifle and subjugate. THAT is how it starts. Shit doesn’t happen overnight. I’m not calling for murders. But if we don’t put our bodies on the gears of the machine to test whether they truly are willing to start hurting us to get their way, then they’ve already won and you can put your votes in the trash and add it to their dumpster fire before assuming your assigned place in the bread line.

Let’s bring their cold war to a new battlefield on their doorfront: The spending of our discretionary dollars.
This is all ultimately about money and power over others, so let’s find a way that takes that club out of their hands once and for all.
Ultimately these people absolutely need our discretionary spending to fund their costly efforts to disenfranchise us all.
Let us consider and implement strategic, specific boycotting. If we start coordinated targeting/starving of known offenders and their $upporters, we will absolutely become a threat they will respond to, a literal and liberal threat to their income and power base.
In today’s Corporate owned America, eventually every dollar spent is a small, but hugely important vote.

History will forget who shoots first. Because the winners write the History. I’ve NEVER advocated Violence. But I do believe that it is high time that those of us who oppose these slimy paskudnyaks stop bringing an intellectual “butter knife” to an alley fight where the other side has tire chains and machetes and moreover they believe there are NO RULES.
Part of the reason that this situation exists today is that those who should have been and should be in opposition have laid down like nice little doormats and they become indignant when they get walked all over. “democrats” need more leaders like Paul Wellstone (Bless his memory), and fewer like some they have now, who seem to think they are part of “Afternoon Tea with the Queen.”
