Here in Virginia, we say, āWell, Bless his little heart.ā No emphasis on ālittle,ā as itās already implied. However, statement must be said in a sappy-sweet manner or a very cold-dry manner to have the intended effect. As usual, affectation is important.

Its pretty pathetic when the best you have is to call the sitting President of the United States an American and a Christian, as if that involves some sort of radical thought process or some kind of weird unknown fact.
