For the boot impaired…Rubios boots are “Cuban” style with a standard Cuban heel. They are sometimes called dress boots or Beatle Boots. They don’t have a 3 inch heel. ( Heel height is measured from the ground to the welt, straight up…not along the rake ) They have a strong rake ( which I like ) and a tight un-worked fit. For dress affairs they rock.
There is no such thing as a “cowboy boot”. There are Western Boots ( I wear them everyday ) that come in many styles. I like a D heel D or chip toe, Texas style walking boot.
Anyone that takes Western Boots seriously would not call them cowboy boots. Cowboys, or today’s modern version of them, usually wear a roper boot. A boot with a shoe like heel.
I have to ask this: Is there a single GOP presidential candidate who has an emotional maturity level higher than that of an insufficiently-supervised six year old?
Seriously, even Pee Wee Herman would tell them to lighten up with the childish taunting already.
What ever happened to gravitas and dignity? Or how about just a modicum of class?
Hmm…Is Trump leading because he may actually be the most substantive Republican candidate there? Sure the content of his substance is odious, but he isn’t making commercials about his competitors’ footwear.
Joe Scarborough is such a smart journalist – he is becoming as smart as Foxy News Journalist Sarah Palin. The boot questions Joe Scarborough asked John Bush the Acronym ¿Jeb? should be taught and replayed in every journalism class as examples of intelligent conservative questions.
Wow, I haven’t seen the “Beatle” boots in years. Didn’t know they still made them. I used to have a pair many years ago, actually two pairs one in black and the other in tan. It does piss me off that women have all these cool choices for boots, but guys get shit. And if you do wear them you get crap from the retards. It seems the “chicks” loved them and I remember people saying you look really nice, maybe it’s time for a purchase??
All of the Republican candidates cite Reagan as their inspiration and political idol except they do not follow his so-called 11th Commandment, i.e. “Thou shalt not speak ill of another Republican.” One could say that their fidelity to all things Reagan is false, among all of their other false beliefs.
