Discussion: Iowa GOPer: Execute Those Who Commit Felony And Repeatedly Enter US Illegally

The moron from Iowa has no idea what happens with an illegal felon much less most everything taught in civics class, does he?

To be convicted of a felony (only “aggravated” felony can possibly lead to deportment), one must first endure a trial and possible carrying out of a sentence.

So, an aggravated felon who serves their sentence and is then deported, who then finds themselves back in the US is subject to execution??

In addition to getting money from the rubes, I think these morons in what is left of the “Republican Party” are there to widen discourse so that things we would not think of doing, we do. Just like the Nazi party did in the 30s.

So much for the “pro-life” hypocrites.

WoooWeeee! That “Kinder&Gentler Compassionate Conservatism” stings, huh?

Compassionate Conservatism: “I’ll look over there while you eat your cat food.”

No, I don’t think so. Godwin’s Law refers to a gratuitous, superficial, and basically always wrong analogy of something or other with Hitler and the “Third Reich”.

In almost 100% of all cases this connection is wrong. In this case, however, the gentleman is referring to an outrageous and callous invocation of the death penalty. And since the Nazis used the death penalty for all sorts of completely minor infractions, for once the reference is spot on. The unbelievably cruel and unjustified suggestion of this Iowa politician is exactly what a Nazi would love. In this case it is not Godwin’s Law, but the simple truth.

More eliminationist rhetoric from the so-called pro-life party.
