Discussion: Iowa GOPer: Execute Those Who Commit Felony And Repeatedly Enter US Illegally

Discussion for article #243326

It must get confusing for low-level Reps trying to figure out what outrageous ideas will be perceived as unacceptable. Don’t worry, Mark, the way things are going, Trump and Carson will open up this space and you can say the same exact thing in a month and no one will notice.

What a liberal, most GOPers want to shoot first and not bother to ask any questions later.

The chairwoman of the Iowa Democratic Party, Andy McGuire, told the Des Moines Register that Chelgren’s remarks represent “a dangerous new low for the Republican Party.”

Sadly, no.
Merely face west to Colorado Springs:

Republican Colorado state Rep. JoAnn Windholz on Monday blamed Planned Parenthood for a mass shooting at its Colorado Springs facility that left three people dead, calling the health care provider an “instigator” of violence in a Facebook post.

Thanks Trump!

“There is no reason to have felons here who threaten our way of life”

Suppose the Pequod tribe had felt that way with respect to the Pilgrims? Do you know what would have happened?

That’s right–no more Black Fridays.

Sigh, what does the GOP have against the free market?

I’m sure this means that Chelgren also endorses the execution of any individual who invades a PP office, kills a law enforcement officer and two civilians.

“These remarks do not represent the values and beliefs of Iowa Republicans. Period,” Iowa GOP spokesman Charlie Szold said in a statement to the Des Moines Register.

Where do they get these people? Did a bunch of die-hard Nazis escape from the bunker in Berlin and move to Iowa by way of Argentina where they have been breeding for the past 70 years? Or have they always been there, just waiting for Trump to come along and make white supremacism fashionable?

Well, looky there, another stupid, irresponsible Republican spouting inflammatory rhetoric that some bigoted crazy yahoo with a gun will act on. Quel surprise.

Note: He looks just as stupid as he talks.

…have they always been there, just waiting for Trump to come along and make white supremacism fashionable?

Short answer: Yes.

Ok, but Chelgren has to be the one that pulls the trigger. That way, his family can be really proud of what he’s accomplishing as an elected official when they ask him what he did at work today, and he gets to explain that he put 4 people to death.

Fortunately for this guy, we don’t have capital punishment for the intellectually challenged.

This word – “not” – it does not mean what you think it means.

This represents the values of the modern republican party PERFECTLY.

Thanks Trump! (h/t @jw1)

Trump: He stole my idea. I was going to wait and make this my campaign issue in national election. I however support executing anyone just because they may be terrorist regardless of citizenship status.

I’m puzzled anyone is troubled by this proposal. We pay various police departments to execute black people on a weekly basis.
