Discussion: Indiana Pizza Shop Still Raking In Money, Over $840K

“…$840,000…”

Welfare works, and conservatives love it!

  1. How much of that cash is from the Koch Brothers?

  2. How much will Glenn Beck and his fellow bunco artists siphon into their own Swiss Bank Accounts?

The Right doesn’t believe in identifying as a victim.

The media asked them (a local ABC affiliate), so you can blame them for all the attention this place is getting.

The media also kept at them, and that’s when Glen Beck saw an opportunity to exploit the situation.

Except the dopey media came to them first.

The media went to them first. So blame them. The chances of a couple, gay or otherwise, having pizza catered to their wedding was not too big anyway.

Poor people have pizza at their weddings all the time.

My son had pizza from dominoes at his wedding reception.

Your privilege is showing.

Easy now, it has nothing to do with being poor. I can see catering sausage and peppers, mac and cheese, etc. But for a wedding pizza seems like something that could be difficult to keep at the right temperature for the duration of eating. I would think trays of food with a little burner below so people can eat at their own leisure. They do have those gas pizza oven trucks that go around, but that’s costly again.

So, if your son did Dominos, fine. I just hope everyone was able to eat before the pizza got cold, which would not take too long.

Exactly, I’m still trying to figure out how my comment got twisted into some kind of class warfare thing…

And indeed, I must be poor frequently for lunch and dinner here in NYC since I have pizza a lot…

I didn’t intend offense. Back in the old days we had cake made and decorated by mother in law, homemade mints and everyone went away happy. It just seems so much is put into the “wedding extravaganza” and a reception that would feed a small country and the marriage sometimes doesn’t last long enough for the couple to pay off the bills.
